HOW TO TELL THE VERSION
Please check the version of the system working on your BRIDGE CAST X before downloading the archive file.
"FIRMWARE VERSION" is displayed on BRIDGE CAST App's "SYSTEM" screen.

Functionality Improvements

    * When updating a preset profile, a factory reset is required after updating the system program. For instructions on how to perform a factory reset, please refer to the BRIDGE CAST X owner's manual.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented CONTROL PAD information from being saved properly.
  • Fixed a problem with USB not being recognized when restarting the computer.
  • Fixed a bug that memorized settings were not reflected immediately after startup.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE YOUR BRIDGE CAST X
  • BRIDGE CAST X
  • USB cable
    * The update is carried out with the USB II port of the unit and the computer connected via USB.
    * You can use the USB cable that comes with the BRIDGE CAST X.
CAUTION WHEN PERFORMING THE UPDATE
  • Never apply this update data to any product other than the BRIDGE CAST X. This update data may destroy the data or system program of other products.
  • Never power-off your BRIDGE CAST X while the update is in progress!
    If a power failure or similar accident occurs during the update process, the BRIDGE CAST X won’t be able to start up in normal operating mode. This will require servicing, so you will need to contact Roland service center near you if this occurs.
  • We regret that we are unable to answer questions regarding the update procedure using this system program. Please perform the update responsibly, following the directions given in this document.
HOW TO UPDATE
Caution
  • Never turn off the BRIDGE CAST X's power while the update is in progress. Otherwise the system program or the BRIDGE CAST X itself may be destroyed.
A function for updating the BRIDGE CAST X's system program is included in BRIDGE CAST App. Please download the latest "BRIDGE CAST App" and install it on the computer.
